Time to sell the vintage Maytag Mower

I'm selling a vintage Maytag lawnmower, branded by the Monitor Co., that is original and running condition. A very interesting ~1946 machine that is powered by a twin-cylinder engine.

Before I throw it up on a certain aution site (where I've seen a few that don't actually run), I'd like to drift it by the helpful tractor gang (that's you) that may have an interest in Maytag collectibles. I took it one small engine/tractor show and most Maytag guys never saw one like it before.

"Ah. The infamous Maytag lawnmower. Said to be a nightmare to operate, as one stone would cause the blade to explode, lopping off the operator�s feet at the ankles. Hitting an obstruction also tended to break the delicate, hollow crankshaft, so this surviving example is quite rare!"
