that's what I'm saying. Why not wire an ignition switch in or maybe a modern pushbutton?
Heck you could install a foot operated automotive starter switch from a 50's era car (most auto stores have them in place of the original.
Actually the IH switch is just one of these bolted to the fuel tank column. Relocate that sucker to the deck...........
