Well i use my h all the time on a belly mower and i can chose any where i want on the cylinder. Sometimes the handel slips past the "bump" on the handel and it will go down. Sounds like this might be it. But i bet you know to check for that. If it needs to be power down and not gravity you need a 2 way valve remote. But i think your talking about gravity down. when you pull the rod it should go up. then it should rest in the off position and hold the cylinder where ever you set it. but make sure it is holding on the catch on the rod. it is a kittke bump that keeps it from going down. other wise some one els might know. Im have never had a problume with any hydrolics on a h with gravity cylinder(S) All mine are non remote,one way with gravity down.
