Hi Howard, Talked to a red shop in an ajoining town this morning and he said the same as you. All the dilly-dalling around just wouldn't be worth the effort and hassle. He said the ideal thing would be to find an old tractor that had a bad rear half and marry the two. So, guess it is either fix this one as a gasser or locate a donor unit. How'd the denist go? Allan

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights. The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony.
