I have owner a 460D since the early 1970"s, it has been used hard over the years, 7 ft. Roam Offset, 9 and 12Ft Haybine, 605A Vemeer Round baler, I have pulled my 605F with but it is not ideal on it. A very good Starter, battery, and glow plugs are very importion for it starting good. Don"t expect it to start on all 6 at once mine starts on 4 then progresses to 6 I use one 12 volt battery, the engineis a very low compression engine and should turn over very fast with the starter. There is not a smoother sounding diesel engine when it is running good. I had mine on a dino one time and it was putting out 63 HP at 540 on the PTO. rated about 52.
