Hello, I was hoping some folks could offer some suggestions to help me figure out what is wrong with my Super A. I was mowing a field with my sickle bar 2 days ago and it start spitting and sputtering all of a sudden and then stalled. Couldn't get it started again. Pulled it to the garage thinking a i fouled a plug or 2 even?? bought new plugs and I got it to start but it only ran about 5 minutes at most and died on me again. So I guess the plugs weren't the issue. It sounds like it is missing. Not nice and smooth like usual and I used to be able to crank it 1 or 2 times and she fired right over even in the winter. I cleaned all my plug wire connections and reseated everything. COudl anyone suggest what I try next? Maybe test the coil or something? (I don't know how I do that exactly). Any help is greatly appreciated.
