A better way to hold that valve closed would be to adapt an old sparkplug to an air hose and screw it into the sparkplug hole and use compressed air to hold the valves closed to change springs. This would also indicate how good the vavles are seating as a bad seal would not allow this method to work and then you know to grind the valves. This adapter may be avaible from a parts store; otherwise it is easy to make. Armand
