Haven't even gone out to the farm yet. Still doin' chores here that I gotta get out of the way first. Thanks for the advice. Read your post about a dozen times and it sure seems to be just a plain straight ahead "good sense" way of doing it and really makes for an easy approach. Wonder why the darned book doesn't do it that way. :>) I had that slave cylinder overhauled when the tractor was in the shop. Have always doubted if it was ever adjusted as it should be because the clutch has always had a "double leap" when taking off from a stop. Allan
