Hello , the wide front should fit as the Swartze mounting plate had several different sets of holes in it ,as for the 9 speed I don't think it would fit as the H is smaller in size then the M , as for the engine on the M being stuck that is a miner thing to deal with in my expearence providing that the block and head are not cracked from frozen water I have used white vinager (from the grocery store) to free up several stuck engines in the past . when you get the engine free remove the vineger and coat parts with oil or diesel to prevent rust . good luck Bryan
