I did get the email, I thought I had replied to it, but perhaps I didn't. If you are refering to the Intake manifold, then yes the valves are working. I will try and time the engine the way you said, is there a way to turn the engine manually? Because using the starter I don't think I can stretch across the cowl that far :) In regards to firing order, off the top of my head I believe I have it at 1-3-4-2 At times I have had putting, and sputtering and some backfiring, and some extreme backfiring 7 foot flames most of the time it just rolls though. I appreciate your help and confidence in this old tractors ability to get back to work.
