Minn, if it has a battery powered coil/distributor ignition instead of a Magneto, fer sureeeeeeeeee it needs an On/Off Ignition switch to turn the spark on or off and prevent the battery from discharging when shes setting. They typicaly are a SPST switch that gets voltage from the load (NOT battery/starter) side of the ammeter fed to their BAT input terminal while their IGN output terminal feeds voltage to the high input side of the coil. The switch is typically a 2 terminal On/Off Push Pull type.
