Did you ever get the mag to fire when it was removed from the engine? You may have a bad condenser, points may need to be cleaned until shiny, clean them with a piece of 320 wet or dry and then use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to clean them. If they're new points use the alcohol and cotton swab to clean them too. You could have a weak coil or the mag's magnets have lost their magnetism. Touch the magnets with a screwdriver to see if it attracts the screwdriver with a lot of effort. A lot of things can cause a no fire. Hal
