The problem with researching the archives to find a cure for a problem is that not only will you find the correct answer, but you will also find ALL of the WRONG answers, and their is no info given as to which is the correct answer. Personally, I have tried the rocks and pebbles method of cleaning a gas tank. The rocks got stuck behind that baffle, and they are still there. I even tried using small steel balls from ball bearings, smaller than BBs, and they also became lodged under and behind that baffle. The only real way to clean a gas tank is by using chemicals. Remove the tank from your tractor, and bring it to a competent radiator repair shop. They will do the job right the first time.
