I drill and tap the center of the cam 7/16 then use a stud and heavy washer and nut to pull the new gear on. use what ever tools are needed to remove the cam gear, I have never removed a cam to install a Broken gear unless I needed to go deeper into the engine. Look good cuzz sometimes something else caused the gear to strip.
