I would consider it a big job since you need to remove a lot of parts in order to get to the camgear. Here are a few parts that need to be removed from the tractor and this won't cover all of them. My manual recommends the steering gear, bolster,front wheels, grille and radiator be removed as an assembly. This so you can access the damper pulley and timing gear cover. These need to be removed. The camshaft needs to removed if it has failed. The old gear needs to be pressed off and a new gear pressed on. The valve tappets need to be removed so you can remove the cam. Hal
