I have a 1953 Stage 2 -- the fact that it is a 1953 does not make it more valuable, the stage 2 does. If it runs and is in relatively good condition $1500-$2500, $2500 is more likely than $1500, PROVIDED the seller knows what he has, he may not know or care. I paid $2250 for mine in 2002, good running condition, several leaks, straight tin, bad rear tires, and absolutely no paint. However, and this is only my opinion: Although the LPG conversions were very popular, and result in a cleaner burning engine, they devalue the tractor because of the loss of originality. I would be much more likely to buy an LPG H or a LPG stage 1 Super H because of that. I think the stage 2 Super H's and Super M's will increase in value, not to the level of the MTA, but increase non the less. In my opinion the LPG conversion makes it worth less money, not more.

The need for fabricating becomes obvious when you go to buy any of these
