Old timers used to use straight 30 weight oil and I believe at one time IH sold an additive that was to be used with 30Wt to make it hydralic fluid. You can get a HiTran equivelant at your local Napa or Tractor supply, Orchelin's etc that will be quite a bit cheaper than buying it from Case/New Holland
