I have a 3 terminal cutout per the generator shop that rebuilt the generator. I have a Mag but I don't think that makes a difference. The diagram makes sense. I'll check it out. I also have the 4 position switch with positive ground. I'll also check on John's idea's. The VR or cutout has 3 terminals on top l, bat, and f. I'll check underneath.
