I tried to get him to go, but no luck with that. It would have been the best thing for him, if he didn't get killed in Iraq. I believe that all 18 year olds should be required to serve at least two years. I served 6 and am glad of it. Would go back now if I wasn't to old and fat to take all that running again. I tried to go back after 911 and was told I was to old. Seemed at the time they wouldn't take anyone over 35. I can't run like I could then, but I can shoot. I will never forget my time in the Army or the friends I made. Every generation of my family on both sides has served as far back as I can trace, but looks like it will end with my boy's. My Grandfather on moms side is buried at Normandy. My step grandfather was wounded there as well. My grandfather on dads side fought with Mac in the Philippines. My dad served in Germany and I have been to Germany,Korea and Grenada.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
