Ours is a little hard to start below 35 degrees, but starts good above that. It has 5300 hours on it now and we have replaced the front seal and seat on it. It does make a big difference in who and how any of them are used and abused. The fuel problem is likely crap in the bottom of tank, I have had this trouble with all of mine that had that rear tank on them. Take the fuel lines loose at the tank and clean it out as best you can and it will do wonders. we had that trouble again two years ago with a 684 we bought at a sale and the cross over line was stopped completely up. Runs great now.
