John deere has a s.n. registry that i have herd of before. i'm not sure on any other tractor. I would like to find my grand pops ol john deere even though i am RED TO THE BONE and will always be. But of i could get the chance to buy grand dads if it still around and for sale i would do it in a heart beat. His name is john vanhoughten the tractor was sold in the late 50's at a estate sale after his home burned to the ground in wannamingo minnesota off hiway 60. I don't know what model it was but my grandama rembers grandpa using the neighbors i.h. M and she called the M a BIG tractor comparable to his. so i think it was a A or B i dont know much about the size of j.d. models as if i ever saw one sitting somewhere I don't pay no attention to it as i'm hard core farmall. I would rather push a rusty farmall rather then drive a compleatly restored john deere. i would make a exception for grandpas john deere.... I would have to put all my farmalls inside and sneak the john deere out back so they would not get mad at me and think im cheating on them. then the john deere would have to live outside away from sight of any of my farmalls as i would not want them to catch junk fever from the john deere.
