Took it all apart and I believe the problem to be the throttle shaft housing. There is a deep groove in the bottom of the throttle shaft housing which shows fresh wear. It seems as though the housing has worn down from vibration and probably stopped the shaft from turning backward. Everythig else seems normal. Am going to fill the groove with metal epoxy and return it to serfvice and see what happens. Am also checking all the throttle linkage since It could have slipped but I doubt it.
