The reservoir tank under the fuel tank had valving inside it much like the belley pump reservoirs with pressure ports to operate one way cylinders. To operate it a rod was hooked to a lever and shaft going in the side of reservoir.You pulled back for pressure and pushed forward to lower implement. If tractor was also equiped with a IH remote control valve to operate two way hydraulics it was locked in closed position to pressure the valving inside reservoir. To pressure the two way valve the reservoir lever was locked back and a rod was used to operate the two way valve.
