I am not positive but I think that your best bet is to try cranking the motor over and see if there is pressure on the gauge on the injection pump. If there is pressure there it should fire up on diesel if you pull it long enough and if there is compression in the motor. If it just died on diesel maybe the supply pump on the injection pump broke and needs to be rebuilt. I had that happen last fall to mine. It should run on gas if you have spark, compression, and air. The motors are not as complex as one would think just take your time and it may be better to pull it on the trailer than to risk breaking more items as parts can get really expensive in a quick hurry.
