We have owned an 18A. When we got it it was also not running. If after repeated starts, or if you can recatch it and keep it running on gas while switching back and forth, it still will not provide fuel to 3 cylinders, the pump will need to be taken apart and cleaned/freed up. The owners, repair, and blue ribbon manual are good things to have, as is a clean location with good light. They aren't complex, just precise. That Dozer will do many great tasks while wearing you out. JimN
