I'd start lookin' for a decent used rider lawn mower for now. Unless you're retired and have lots of free time, there's no way you're going to turn that tractor around and have it fixed before the grass needs mowing again.

If she's a-clanking and a-clattering, blowing air up into the radiator, it's gonna take more than an oil change to fix the problem. Probably a complete engine rebuild by the time all is said and done. You'll definitely want the crank sent out to be turned/polished.
