Ask your question again, and maybe someone who knows can help you -- My opinion is that you have to use the C135 gasket because it matches your 3.25 inch bore, but I don't know what it does to the water passages. Both the C123 and C135 had water pumps. R3 is the latest version, it is downward compatible with the earlier versions of R2 and R1. Many IH parts are that way.
