Dave: My lever is also on the right side of the seat. The lever stays in position pretty much, but is, like you said of yours, very touchy. Someone told me that if it acted like that, there was a valve under the seat which was supposed to stop the implement in its place, when you stopped the lift handle, but could maybe not be engaging properly. Can you see any kind of valve under the seat of your 240U? There is a rod which runs from the handle on the right side, under the seat, to some control rods on the left side, going back to the hydr-cylinder, and forward to some connections under the fuel tank. When not running, I can move the lift handle back and forth and the slack in the connections never do anything to the rod going back to the cylinder. There is a kind of round cam-like deal on the left side that is supposed to move a rod going back to the cylinder, but it doesn't make anything move when you move the handle up and down. Any help? Thanks. Jim
