Yes, a common problem. There are some adjustments but with the steering going a half turn before moving the wheels then it needs a rebuild. This is a chore and the reason that most owners just deal with the slack. you have to breakdown the whole front end--front axle, radiator & unbolt the front from the engine. I think there's rebuild kits you can buy. Also, not helping the problem is the ball joints on the steering at the front axle are worn and contribute to the slack. Like I said, live with it or fix it--that's the question. Unless you're going to be cultivating a garden, you may choose to live with it. With cultivation on young plants, you may have no choice.
