We plant corn and barlye , and Alphia on rotation . Two years corn one barley and 3-5 years in cover depending on the stand of the cover weather it will go longer then the three years . All the crops are for feeding the critters and with the new yelds that we have been getting we need to feed more as if this year is as good as last i have no idea where we will store it . Some of the corn is chopped for silage and some is picked for ear corn for feed grinding and stored in cribs . Last year we ran out of crib space and used the silage wagons for some and some never got picked till March . Still have one silage wagon full of ear corn and no room in the cribs yet.
