When I bought my F-20, I had the same problem. Built a bed extension out of some heavy planks to support the wheels. Worked out fine. Was a little interesting getting the tractor up on the trailer though. It also wouldn't go forward on the trailer enough (fenders in the way). Added about 800# of counter weight in front of the trailer to keep the tonge heavy and it worked out well. Tractor made a 900 mile trip that way.
