I help to maintain our town's tractor for cutting roadsides, which coincidentally, is an International 130. The first time I drove it, I thought for sure that the transmission was dying, and I told my dad that. He drove it around and told me that his father's B made the same noise the day they picked it up new from the dealer. Those transmissions seem quite a bit louder then the H/M transmissions. I am not sure if it is due to the position of the transmission relative to the operator, the amount of material between the operator and the gears, or just the way the gears were cut. I am betting it is probably just fine.
