Like others have said they are all noisy. I bought my A in mid sixtys and installed new belly mower. The first time I ran mower I was sick of the whole deal as the PTO had such a whine that I knew it could not last. Now 40 plus years later the tractor has cut 2 acre lawn for about 25 years and after that it was used to "bush hog" 5 acre pasture for about 10 years and PTO is doing fine in fact after a while I got to where I did not notice whine.
