Get yourself an assortment. Dad got his at the local Massey Ferguson dealer of all places probably close to 20 years ago for maybe $20. It's still coming in handy.

Harbor Freight has a similar assortment.

Some are drive-in, some are NPT, and some are straight thread. The drive-in ones are the easiest to install; just use a 1/4" socket that fits over the nipple, and an extension, as a driving tool. Tap in with a small hammer...
