Possible Anti-Theft Idea

Mine is riveted on and absolutely illegible. If I ever replace it, I’m thinking of stamping the new plate with a unique code (maybe my initials and year of birth backwards). Then if the tractor is ever stolen, the cops can identify it even after the thief removes or replaces the tractor serial number plate. Of course, it would make it interesting if someone ever had to cross-reference the part number to replace the starter… Mark W. in MI
