It won't be a simple swap. You'll need either a custom rear plate or the rear plate out of a 766 or early 886 diesel. The 312 and 360 use the same block AFAIK, but the 358 that's in your 826 is a completely different engine.

You should be able to get 90HP out of the D312 by turning the pump up.
