1206 is heavier throughout the rear end. 1206 was not avalible with 34" wheels. 1206 was only avalible with the single shaft 1000 rpm PTO unit from the factory, but the dual shaft 540/1000 unit bolts right in. From what I've been told, most dealers would order these big tractors 1206, 1256, 1456, 1466, ect. with no PTO unit. They would then order a 540/1000 rpm unit through the parts department and install it. 1206 had the 14" clutch while the 806 had the 12" clutch. Quite a few differences in the engine. DT-361 has a larger oil pump for one.
