MD with water in the oil

I have a 1941 MD that gets water in the oil. We just had the head planed and installed a new head gasket with it. There's no evidence of any cracks in the head or in the block. The cylinder head was also pressure tested.
I've heard that some M engines have a freeze plug in the front of the engine behind the timing cover and it eventually rusts out. Do any of the MD blocks also have this freeze plug? I don't have a block serial number, but any info or insight into the problem is very helpful. Just for the record, she runs great!
