Happy Easter and glad you didnt have more damage! I have been a volunteer fireman for 25 years and have seen that many times and worse. My wood stove is in my basement and is surrounded by concrete and the clay thimble goes through the concrete wall and I still keep a watchful eye on it, infact I still have it running because its so darn cold :"( The good Lord was watching over you today ! Amen !
