Sometimes fuel is very difficult to ignite with old plugs, if they are new, ignore this issue. ND plugs in a Mower like yours. If the plugs don't fix it, the choke may not be actually closing all the way. Another issue might be a battery that has pretty good amps, but in which the cranking voltage is low enough to cause firing issues. The voltage while cranking (at the battery terminals) should be 10 volts or better. JimN
