The only thing I can think of is that they put a bigger engine in the 340 industrial. The 504 engine (c-153 4cyl)might have the 47hp. The serial# for my 340 industrial is 10652 which should make it a 1962. The 504 were made the same year by IH. I don't see any difference between the 340 industrial and the 340 utility other than the beefed up grill and the yellow paint. So maybe they put the bigger engine?
