I got a 300U with a loader on it. tractor was owned by a hospital for plowing snow. They must have replaced most of the steering parts or not used it much, as the steering is tight for its age.
I'm not gonna argue about loaders being hard on steering parts, because simply put they are very hard on them. Without power steering they are hard as heck to turn, and that shows right there how much force is put on the steering components. I dont think It would stop me from using my loader tho. Common sense will go a long way. Keep it properly lubed (probably on a more frequent basis then what the manual says being it has a loader on it), and make sure ur moving when u try to turn the wheel will help to reduce wear, but wont eliminate it.
