Ok so far, medium boil, on low heat, So long as there is water in the oil it won't climb above 212 degrees, Did three gallons as a first test, to make it easier to pour out of the pot into a can. Took about 1 1/2 hrs but I didn't stand over it or stir. I posted a picture of the cooker in the tractor shed implement photos, IF anyone knows how to move that photo to the forum let me know.
