Found a '44 H today...

on my way home from work I had been meaning to stop and look at this H that was sitting around with a number of M's and other IH equipment. The owner was there, and I let him talk my ear off about the history of the farm and his family and the machines. I sure do like to hear it, even though he kept apologizing for boring me. (Not once was I bored) Anyway, he didn't think he wanted to part with his '44 H. It's complete, and runs, so he claims if he tweaked on it a bit. Looks all original and in real good shape considering it's never seen a barn.
Anyway, I told him it would have a real good home with me and get the care and respect it deserved. I left him to mull it over. We'll see
