You can"t afford to pay more than scrap price for a tractor that"s stuck unless you can predict which ones are complete junk and which ones need just a little TLC to run again. You can visually inspect castings, tin, wheels, and tires, but that"s about it.

You won"t very likely make any money buying them fixing them up and reselling them, so plan on fixing it up for your own enjoyment and use. There are a lot of H tractors out there, and a lot of them are still being used although not all day every day like 40 years ago.
