I bought a 51 at an auction for $850 but was prepared to go to $1300. Came with good rear tires. Motor runs good. Several I looked at were wornout! Steering very loose, clutch and brake pedals that wobbled, cracks in the hood, clutch shaft loose. These are some of the things that bothered me.
Bear in mind you'll still need to replace every seal and gasket in it, stg wheel, seat, gauges, carb kit, wiring on & on. $300 to $600 may be about right. I think if you're a seller there's really not a lot of buyers so you're in the driver's seat.
