May God give you peace. You Father"s found it. You were blessed to be with him, and that you were able to give him comfort and support as he left this world. I"m certain that made a difference. I was with my Mother the same way. I recall telling her it was OK for her to go, and that I"d be fine. She too was Norwegian, independent and proud. Her last wish was that under no circumstances was I to put her age in the obituary. I"ll never forget the experience of being there. It was appropriate that you were chosen to be the one.
