Copper or stock head gasket

I just finished taking the head off my H the copper head gasket I
planned on using didn't seal so took the head off and cleaned
things up. My question is how much compression and or H.P. will I
lose by using my stock gasket which is .070 or .075 compared to
my copper which is .040 don't know if I want to put the copper on
and have it not seal again. We went with the 3 9/16th pistons so
we do have pretty good power. We also have a cam grind.
