I am trying to clean and re-build an IH H4 magneto. I have ( I think)taken out all screws and the pieces that go on both ends, but I can't get the rotor to come out. I have the drive member off but can't get the plate that has the pawls behind it to move. I need to remove that plate and pawls to clean the rust so they will move freely and check the bearings. Also does the post the pawls snap on just press out? Looks like it would. I have an I & T Magneto manual that covers testing and re-building this unit, but it does not tell me what I am not doing. Any assistace would be appreciated. Thanks Tom/Idaho
