That may not be for a C at all there was also a version for a 230/240 and so on that used a chain hooked to the bottom of cylinder to work the lift mechanisim. It will work on a C but if you dont have the long lift rod you will have to make one. If you need it I can measure mine and give you the diminsions. To clear up any confusion they are the same mower with different lift set up.
